Rule specifying a hostname not taking effect in web browser
Due to an optimization, NetDetour requires the web browser to be restarted after adding the first hostname-based rule for it to take effect. This behavior is related to the browser's internal DNS cache.
If another hostname-based rule already exists, newly added hostname-based rules should take effect immediately without restarting the browser.
When restarting the browser, make sure it is fully closed first. You can verify this in Task Manager and ensure no browser processes remain running.
